Common questions for New Users

Workflow Steps

1. Regressions are run continuously, using the latest source code from the repository.
2. Simscope imports the regressions and:
   • Buckets the failures into Signatures.
   • If Rules match, they automatically run on the incoming Signatures.
3. Users either manually assign or create Rules for assignments and bugs.
4. Users Fix the bugs or Add new tests/code, and then check back into the repository.
5. Once the fixes are checked in, users Resolve Rules or manually update assignments.
6. Repeat Step 1 until there are no remaining:
   • Incomplete design features
   • Coverage holes
   • Active Signatures
